G R O W T H. It happens when our desire to be better, to be stronger, more giving, more loving, becomes bigger than our desire to be in pain or to live in mundanity. It happens when we suddenly realize we deserve more than we have been allowing ourselves. .
The amount of growth I’ve experienced in these couple years teaching yoga and movement are mind blowing to me. Sometimes I don’t even recognize myself (in a good way) and I have to take a step back to make sure it’s real. Am I now a teacher that my teachers were to me to this next generation of yogis? Am I a teacher people look to for movement and words? It’s not possible. But it is. How did I get here? .
I now live a life full of purpose, passion, and opportunity. My teachers planted such a deep rooted seed in me to do good, be good, and stay true to what I believe is powerful. So I watered that seed every damn day as best as I knew how. And it grew. I blossomed. And then I turned to other seeds by me and said, come on, let’s grow together. And today, I have rooms and rooms full of seeds. All you yogis give me life. You give me purpose. You challenge me to always keep growing and reaching higher, Because YOU keep growing. It’s a beautiful cycle. We just keep rooting for one another...so the growth never stops. It shifts as we shift and as the seasons shift, but it doesn’t stop. It’s so awe inspiring I tear up thinking about it. .
Never stop growing. If you stop, I stop. Let’s keep going together and make everything around us beautiful. .
