#Venice has so many stunning churches & basilicas (more than 130) but my favourite is the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, simply referred to as Salute (that's the vaporetto stop for it too). Located in Dorsoduro, the Baroque church/basilica was built in the 17th century as a votive offering after Venice experienced a devastating plague outbreak. Inside, it holds priceless artworks, including those by Titian & Tintoretto. The basilica is free to enter but there's an entrance fee for the sacristy where most of the artworks are displayed.
